SO I enrolled in Noah Bradley's Art Camp, winter session. It'll be on until February, which means I'll be insanely busy until then. Once I'm done, I'll be hitting the painting again as hard as I can to see how my skills have progressed. I can't promise anything, but I'm learning a hell of a lot so far, and really getting back to the fundamentals of good art- something I feel I've lost over the years.
Writing is progressing on my dual raison d'erte's- Outer Era and Last of the Goden, so I should have more work for those on the way once camp is over as well. More big robots, more badass warriors, big creepy monsters, what have you. This feels sort of like my last hurrah at making my work marketable, but I doubt I'll ever quit. Fall down seven times, stand up eight, eh?
In other news, it's cold and rainy/snowy/beary-going-through-my-garbagy here in the Poconos, and I'll be looking for a new place to stay soon. Finally back to having my own crib which I can fully deck out as an art studio, given all my plans fall into place. The world keeps trying to slay me, and I keep sending it's killers back, wrapped in sarcasm and my signature thousand-yard stare.
Also probably going to totally reboot my Deviant Art account. So you know. Be on the lookout.
Happy Turkey Day
Until next time
